Style Chicago:Modern Beauty-Girls Night Out

Hello Everyone,

Last Thursday, August 15th, I had the opportunity to attend the Style Chicago-Modern Beauty Event-Girls Night Out at Venue One with fellow Blogger Ashley Pena from Big Time Beauty.

When we got there we checked in and had a Spicy Mongolian Beef Wao from WaoBao Station.

As we entered the event we were surprised to see how nice it was, looked very chic, definitely fit for a Modern Beauty Event.

The Music was being played by103.5 Kiss FM with Nina Chantele as Speaker.

There layout was spacious and all the vendors were lined up nicely.

Vendors included Beauty Salons, Clothing Shops and Jewelery Designers as well as some food stations.

I will now talk about the vendors that caught my eye and I had services with.

I had the pleasure of getting my eye brows done here with Maribeth. I was a bit scared at first my eyebrows are important to me but she made me feel comfortable and asked what I wanted.
Let me just say I loved the outcome, definitely will give them a try soon. I also met the manger and he invited me to come by the salon and get more services done, Hope to do this soon and give a more in depth review of all their services.

I met Samantha and Mel. These two ladies are great very friendly and professional.  Special Thanks to both, Samantha for keeping us entertained while we waited in line she was very nice and engaged us in conversation and  Mel for a great Polish color, I loved my nails 4 days later and my nails are holding up nicely :)

RA Sushi was one of the food vendors at the event. They had pre-made sample dishes. I don't usually go for Sushi But it looked good so I gave it a taste.  I loved the Rolls and the Chips with Salsa (Spicy tuna tartare mixed with cucumber, avocado & fresh salsa; served with wonton chips), They also had sauteed green beans which I was not a fan of but Ashley liked them.

This vendor caught my eyes with their pearl jewelry. I loved the stackable pearl bracelets Jennifer had on display. After speaking with the designer I learned these are all handmade and unique, she also does opal jewelry.  I am happy to announce I will be working on something with Jennifer soon, be on the look out :)

The only thing I regret was not getting the Goody Bag from the looks and talks of it, it was a must have and worth over $200.

All in all the event was great for more pictures check out my facebook album here.

Hope to see you at the next Style Chicago Event- The Art Of Fashion get tickets here
