The Makeup Show Chicago Meetup- Artist Mayhem

This year I organized The Makeup Show Chicago Meetup with help form other artists.
We all met at Bar Below for some drinks and networking.
It was great to meet other artists from the area while having some delicious  food and drinks.
Our Bartender/Server Michael was fantastic he was very attentive to the large group
and also made sure everything went smoothly.
We had about 40 attendees this year, doubling our attendance from last years meetup.
The early birds all received a goody bag from Kathy H. Duncan of
Fusion of Color Cosmetics, website here.

At around 8pm we were all able to listen to James Vincent, famous Makeup Artist and the
Director of Education for The Makeup Show.  He talked to us about the industry and how
we should all come together in this community and our artistry and city on the map.
He also spoke to us about all the educational opportunities that we would have at the Makeup Show.

It was great to network with other artists and to talk about how to improve our craft.
It is always a great time to get together with others that understand the business and that want to learn from one another.

Watch for the Makeup Show Wrap UP Post....

XO Gaby

  1. Great quality and received them on time! The brushes initially smell like paint, but the distributor included a sheet that explains how to rid them of the smell! I will try that and see if it works!! Great price and I am satisfied with my purchase .. http://deadseaproductstore.com
