Fitness & Fashion at the Fashion Outlets in Chicago

Well it's officially Spring and that means getting ready to hit the gym and workout for that Summer body, lol. One of my favorite things to do is shop for workout clothes and my go to is Fashion Outlets Chicago. I love the outlet because there are many store options for shopping and they have some of the best prices. Last month I was invited to attend a Fashion and Fitness event which included some bites and a tour of some of their stores that carried fitness clothes and accessories. I was very excited because the Fashion Outlets Chicago is already a family favorite.

Once I arrived I was greeted with some awesome treats from some of the businesses in the mall.
Here is the first one that caught my attention, David's Tea. The cart was very cute and not to mention the steeping mug.  I was able to taste the Strawberry shake tea and it was delicious.

Another great spot was Freshii,  I decided to try the Mango Tango as well as the Metaboost. I really enjoyed both and I will definitely be taking the kids there for the smoothies. I was also able to find out that they do food preparations that you can pick up on your next shopping trip, which is pretty cool if you live in the area.

Now the last food stop was Le Creuset, this was a cool stop because they had Chef Corey Rice from Season 8 of Master Chef. He made a healthy dish using a Le Creuset wok. Master Chef is one of my favorite shows and I thought it was cool to see Corey using a kitchen item that I can buy at the Fashion Outlet for a great price.

Now on to the shops that carry fitness/gym clothes.
Don't go to the gym or workout?  no worries, athleisure is in so all the options below are perfect for a trip to do groceries or a quick errand run.

First stop was Nordstrom Rack, one of my favorites already.
Well these two outfits were the major focus, can you tell which was my favorite?
I actually really liked the grey/black outfit, I can see myself wearing the leggings and the jacket.

The Second stop was PUMA, which I was excited about since I hadn't noticed it before.
PUMA manager talked about how all their items being especially made for their outlet store. Generally outlets are overstock from the bigger retail shops but these items are specific to them.
I was able to go back after our tour and got these 2 t-shirts.

The last stop of the day was lululemon, They sell yoga clothes.
I had actually never heard of this shop but I am glad I visited, they actually hem the pants there in case you need them shorter. I am short so this is a great added service to have.
There was also a mini yoga session going on.

Have you visited the Fashion Outlets lately? What are your favorite stores?
I think my some of my favorites are Puma, Nordstrom Rack, Saks off Fifth, Guess and Nike.
I hope this helps guide you to some great stores at Fashion Outlets Chicago for your gym wear needs.

XO, Gaby
